UKUEM (Umoja wa Kiislamu Elimu, Uchumi na Maendeleo) is a Zanzibar-based Islamic organisation established under its own Katiba (Constitution). Its objectives include:
UKUEM is governed by an elected Amir and Executive Committee (Kamati Tendaji), and operates from its Makao Makuu in Kijangwani, Zanzibar, and its Afisi Kuu in Chake Chake, Pemba.
