Education and Dawah

• Manage madrasa owned by UKUEM or supported at the request of members
• Manage mosques owned by UKUEM or entrusted to it by Muslims
• Develop curricula and syllabi for schools and madrasa
• Organise public lectures, indoors or outdoors, alone or with other Muslims
• Build relationships with sheikhs, Muslim leaders, and Islamic institutions
• Spread and promote Islam across Zanzibar and beyond
• Carry out other activities supporting the Department's mission
